Short hiatus

I'm very sorry, but real life has been incredible busy! I know for certain that I will be back within a few days. Then, I'll be back to posting and I'll get back to all your comments and check out your blogs. Thanks in advance for understanding. :)

The final collection: John Galliano

Though John Galliano is more famous for his design work for Dior, he also had his own clothing label, which was named after him. In 2011, he was fired from both Dior and the John Galliano label for controversy and problems in his personal life. It is very possible that he will make a comeback in fashion but he would no longer be designing for his own label. He showed one last collection in a low-key presentation, the John Galliano Fall/Winter 2011.12 womenswear collection. I do think that this is a collection worth appreciating, so here are a few images.

In an alternate universe

Everyone is talking about autumn, but where I live, it feels like it's cold enough to be winter. I've never been very good at dressing for winter and I already miss dressing for warmer weather; that's why I've made two sets on Polyvore of outfits that I could really see myself wearing if the weather was warmer (and, of course, if I didn't have to think about the price tags).

Diane Kruger, the style icon

I can hardly remember a time when I did not love fashion. For almost as long as I've followed fashion, I've also loved the style of Diane Kruger. For one, she doesn't have a stylist; she used to be a model so she knows a lot of designers personally and doesn't need to go through a stylist to borrow dresses. For another, she takes fashion risks and makes them look completely effortless.

I've decided that there's no way I could narrow down my favourite looks of hers, so here are just some of her look that I like from recent years.
