I was not always a fan of Chloé; I used to think that the brand was unimaginative. Blasphemy, right? I've only recently fallen in love with their collections, and I now see it as a creator of timeless, quality clothing. The clothes aren't displayed with fancy theatrics but they carry a simple girlishness and easy grace. I think their pieces tend to look better in editorials and streetstyle than on the runway.
Perhaps my newfound love for Chloé is also because of the new designer, Clare Waight Keller. She became the brand's creative director in 2011 and designed the two most recent ready-to-wear collections. I think both of them are absolutely lovely.
Another fashion month is coming soon and I can't wait to see Chloé's latest pieces.
