NYFW Round-Up

Two days ago, London Fashion Week took off upon the close of New York Fashion Week. Fashion month excitement is really starting to kick in and I can hardly keep up with all of these shows! In all honesty, New York has never really been my favourite of the fashion weeks. This season, however, I saw a few collections that I think are definitely worth a look. What changed? I'm pretty sure my preferences haven't, so maybe I'm just looking for different things in different cities. In a different light, New York Fashion Week has some real gems.

One of the collections that really impressed me was Helmut Lang. Some of the prints have me on the fence but I absolutely love the colours and silhouettes. (Click images to enlarge.)

Jason Wu was another great show. This season, he came out with a very dramatic collection, bringing a stronger edge to femininity through influences from the Far East.

I've been loving Ralph Lauren's collections time and time again these past seasons, and this time was was no different. For me, the collection of this season was particularly memorable for its classic elegance and extreme sophistication.
